Daniel is one of many children working in the tunnels of British mines. Work there's hard enough on its own but when the exit of the Pit collapses upon an accident with explosives and the supplies of the mining crew dwindle after days in darkness, Daniel has to fend for himself more and more. A fight for survival and escape begins... Will he ever see the sunlight again?
